Description
WX VAPOR COMM Ballistic glasses, Wiley X®
The main advantage of this model is the specially designed COMM temples, which are thin enough not to interfere with the seal of the ear cups on shooting headphones. This ensures not only high comfort without pressure points, but above all, the maintenance of the full rated level of hearing protection. The glasses are equipped with an adjustable rubber nose bridge featuring the Twist Lock system, which allows for individual adjustment to any face shape and ensures that the glasses do not slip, even during sudden movements or in high humidity.
The lenses are made of highly durable Selenite™ polycarbonate, which provides optical clarity without spatial distortion. The lens surface is protected by a hardened T-Shell™ coating against mechanical scratches and an advanced Foil™ (Anti-Fog) treatment that effectively prevents fogging in harsh climatic conditions. The goggles are fully compatible with the TLRX prescription insert and meet the requirements for use with night vision devices.
BALLISTIC CERTIFICATIONS AND SAFETY STANDARDS
This model has been tested according to the strictest standards for protection against mechanical eye injury:
- MIL-PRF-32432A: U.S. military standard guaranteeing protection against impact from a .15-caliber fragment traveling at speeds up to 724 km/h
- ANSI Z87.1: standard confirming resistance to impact from a 6.35 mm steel ball traveling at 165 km/h
- EN 166F: European standard for personal eye protection ensuring safety against impacts from objects traveling at 162 km/h

- Smoke Grey (Dark): 15% light transmission; ideal for bright light conditions, reduces glare without color distortion
- Clear: 89–90% light transmission; maximum light transmission for indoor use, at dusk, or at night
- Light Rust (Orange): 52% light transmission; enhances contrast and depth of field by filtering out blue light, suitable for foggy or cloudy weather
