Hammocks have already become popuar also in Czechia. Take a look at our offer of popular outdoor hammocks made of netting, cotton and EllTex (a mixture of cotton and polyester). You can use hammocks to sleep in the open air (especially variants with a mosquito net), in a campsite or to relax in the garden (for example, the popular Amazonas hammock).

A hammock is an essential part of the equipment of every experienced traveler or soldier.
HISTORY OF HAMMOCKS
Initially, the hammock was intended for an overnight stay in the jungle, where it is not advisable to sleep on the ground due to insects. Over time, the hammock spread throughout the world and became popular with many travelers. After all, having ants or starlings in your sleeping bag will not please anyone. A mosquito net helps reliably against flying insects.
ADVANTAGES OF HAMMOCKS
The main advantages of hammocks include compactness and very low weight. Another advantage of using a hanging hammock is the speed of "installation", the hammock only needs to be hung. In combination with the tent, you can build a simple shelter from a hammock even in places where it is not possible to set up a tent.
