The Wiley X JAKL is a premium model designed for the most demanding tactical scenarios, where every detail matters. The frame is made of virtually indestructible yet extremely lightweight Triloid™ nylon, which ensures high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The slim profile of the temples minimizes pressure points under the ear cups, ensuring not only comfort but also a proper seal for the ear cups to maintain full hearing protection. The rubberized nose bridge with a non-slip finish keeps the goggles securely in place even during sudden movements, high humidity, or extreme physical exertion.

The lenses, made of highly durable Selenite™ polycarbonate, are manufactured with a focus on optical precision, providing a crystal-clear image without spatial distortion. Each lens is treated with a hardened T-Shell™ coating, which significantly increases scratch resistance in abrasive environments full of dust and sand. The glasses are designed as a modular system that allows the user to instantly change lenses according to current lighting conditions.

Advanced CAPTIVATE™ lens technology takes the visual experience to a new level by filtering color noise at wavelength overlap points. This results in a significant increase in contrast, sharpness, and depth perception, which is key for rapid target identification and navigation in rugged terrain. This technology also blocks harmful blue light (HEV), delaying eye fatigue and protecting the retina during long missions in direct sunlight. Wiley X JAKL is thus the perfect tool for anyone who refuses to compromise between performance and safety.

Can be made with prescription lenses. To find a Wiley X partner near you, who can make prescription lenses, use Store Locator to find an optician. Prescription lenses do not provide ballistic protection; if you require ballistic protection whilst also needing vision correction, you must use a prescription insert.

• CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Black Mirror: eliminates glare from water or shiny surfaces while maintaining natural color perception; the perfect choice for driving and sunny days by the water.
• CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Blue Mirror: reduce blue light reflections and balance the spectrum for even light penetration into the eye; ideal for fishing and activities in extremely bright conditions.
• CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Green Mirror: reduces glare and enhances visual clarity in green environments; the best choice for fishing in shallow waters, golf, or outdoor activities.
• CAPTIVATE™ Tungsten Mirror: enhances contrast and colors in the surrounding world; a master at providing optimal vision in changing light conditions.
• CAPTIVATE™ Black Mirror: protects your eyes from harsh rays and provides a natural color appearance with balanced contrast for all-day wear.
• CAPTIVATE™ Red Mirror: provides sharper depth perception and realism in the brightest sunlight (note: this variant is the only one that does not meet the MIL-PRF-32432A standard).
• Grey/Clear/Light Rust (Set of Three Lenses): a versatile set containing dark, clear, and orange lenses for complete protection from night operations to movement in bright sunlight.

BALLISTIC CERTIFICATIONS AND SAFETY STANDARDS

• MIL-PRF-32432A: U.S. military standard guaranteeing protection against impact from a .15-caliber fragment traveling at speeds up to 796 km/h (all variants comply except Red Mirror).
• ANSI Z87.1: Standard confirming resistance to impact from a 6.35 mm steel ball traveling at 165 km/h.
• EN 166F: European standard for personal eye protection ensuring safety against impacts from objects traveling at 162 km/h.
