GAS CARTRIDGES
The most common propane/butane ratio in the cartridges for camping stoves is 30/70. This ensures good combustion even in winter. Propane-butane cartridges are usually available in three sizes: 100 g, 220 g and 450 g. The exact weights vary slightly from one manufacturer to another.
Expected life of a cartridge for one person:
- 100 g: 1 day+
- 220 g: Weekend
- 450g: 1 Week
Of course, it all depends on the intensity and quantity of cooking. It is best to test how long a cartridge lasts for you personally and adjust your reserves accordingly.
