Weapon lights and flashlights

Tactical flashlight is one of the most basic accessories for a weapon. It attaches to either a trigger guard or to a rail found either on the frame of the weapon or as a dedicated Picatinny type rail or another RIS rail. Not only does the mounted flashlight play an auxiliary role in aiming in the dark or in poor visibility conditions, but also dazzles the person standing on the wrong side of the weapon.

It is important to keep in mind that not every flashlight can be mounted on any given rifle or pistol - the flashlight must be specially designed to withstand recoil when firing.
