VIKING PLATE CARRIER, CUSTOM GEAR
Going into a crucial battle without sufficient ballistic protection can't end in anything other than finding yourself in Valhalla before the fight even begins. The Viking is a modern Czech-made plate carrier that has all the necessary features for demanding tactical operations.
The main advantage of this carrier is the front part, which uses a composite mesh combined with MOLLE ties of 6x3 size, which provides an extremely large area of usability of the entire chest section. This MESH is made from a high-strength and durable CURV® composite, and its VELCRO® top cover layers can be used to hold ID patches and other organizers. The MESH provides absolute 100% stability and is highly variable. It allows for both vertical and horizontal attachment for example to hold TQ pouches, knives or other pockets and equipment.
A nice little detail is the chest compartment for small items, which is great and offers a quickly accessible space for your small items.
The carrier includes side pockets for a ballistic insert that can be easily attached to the side panels thanks to the reversible MOLLE binding.
In keeping with current trends, the manufacturer hasn't left out the zippers on the back for attaching back panels and platforms. The zippers are fully compatible with CRYE back panels and for secondary back panel insurance, there are four holes in the top of the back panel. The entire back panel features a MOLLE binding and a VELCRO panel has been added at the top for attaching ID patches.
A completely comfortable and reliable carry is ensured by the padded shoulder straps, which also feature a pair of double-sided Velcro® mounts for communication device cables or hydration bag tubes. The inner part of the carrier is made up of a high grammage 3D mesh with stitching that ensures sufficient ventilation, and the thick foam insert provides perfect comfort.
