Rhino Rescue Training Tourniquet
The Rhino Rescue training tourniquet in blue is specifically designed for safe practice of controlling severe bleeding. Its bright color makes it instantly recognizable as a training tool, eliminating the risk of confusing it with the operational version used in real-life emergencies.
The compact and lightweight design allows for easy carrying and frequent use during training sessions. The tourniquet is made from durable materials that withstand repeated application and tightening, making it ideal for hands-on tactical medicine exercises, law enforcement training, and first aid courses.
The fixation mechanism mirrors the operational version, allowing users to learn realistic procedures for proper application. With dimensions of approximately 16 × 6 × 4.5 cm and a weight of around 84 g, it is a practical addition to any training kit.
Operational tourniquets have already proven to save lives, significantly reducing the risk of bleeding out before help arrives.
Its compact size makes it suitable for a car, motorcycle, home, backpack, or cabin. It is appreciated not only by police officers, firefighters, and paramedics but also by outdoor enthusiasts or anyone who wants to be prepared – because we never know when we may need to use a tourniquet for ourselves or others.
For everyday carry, a practical pouch can be purchased, allowing you to have the tourniquet always at hand.

How to Use the Tourniquet
Place the tourniquet approximately 5–7 cm above the wound, but never directly over a joint (elbow, knee). If the injury site is covered by clothing and cannot be located quickly, place the tourniquet as high as possible on the limb.
Thread the strap through the buckle and tighten firmly until the tourniquet fits snugly around the limb.
Twist the rod (windlass) until the bleeding completely stops and no pulse is felt below the constriction point.
Secure the windlass in the clip to prevent it from loosening. Check stability.
Write the application time on the “TIME” label or a visible spot – this is crucial information for rescuers.
