Bleeding Control Tourniquet by Rhino Rescue
The Rhino Rescue tourniquet is a tactical device that provides an effective means for quick and safe limb constriction in cases of severe arterial bleeding. It is designed for use in emergency situations where blood flow must be stopped immediately – whether in combat conditions, accidents, or first aid scenarios. This simple medical tool saves lives because, when used correctly and with proper training, it can prevent a patient from bleeding out.
The robust system consists of a strong, wide strap and an internal tightening band that creates effective circumferential pressure. The rotating rod (known as a windlass) allows for secure tightening and subsequent fixation in a sturdy clip. Thanks to this design, the tourniquet remains stable even during prolonged use and demanding field conditions.
The body of the tourniquet also features a “TIME” label for recording the application time. The securing system is made up of a strong Velcro strap, which holds reliably even in challenging conditions.

Tourniquets like this have proven to save lives – significantly reducing the risk of bleeding out before help arrives.
Thanks to its compact size, it is suitable for a car, motorcycle, home, backpack, or cabin. It is appreciated not only by police officers, firefighters, and paramedics but also by outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who wants to be prepared – because we never know when we may need to use a tourniquet for ourselves or others.
For everyday carry, you can also purchase a practical pouch, so the tourniquet is always at hand.
how to use the tourniquet
Place the tourniquet about 5–7 cm (2–3 in) above the wound, but never directly over a joint (elbow, knee). If the injury site is covered by clothing and cannot be quickly located, place the tourniquet as high as possible on the limb.
Thread the strap through the buckle and pull it tight until the tourniquet fits snugly around the limb.
Twist the rod (windlass) until the bleeding completely stops and no pulse is felt below the constriction point.
Secure the windlass in the clip to prevent it from loosening. Check stability.
Write the application time on the “TIME” label or in a visible place – this is essential information for rescuers.
