Description
SABER ADVANCED BALLISTIC GLASSES, WILEY X®
This model stands out for its design, which allows for instant adjustment to suit your current needs. The telescoping temples can be adjusted to several positions or removed entirely and replaced with an elastic strap. This design ensures that the goggles remain securely in place even during very sudden movements, jumps, or when worn in combination with bulky hearing protection and a helmet. Comfort during extended wear is ensured by a 360° adjustable nose bridge and an Ultra Foam™ foam strip at the top of the frame, which absorbs shocks and prevents sweat from running into the eyes.
The lenses are made of durable Selenite™ polycarbonate, which provides a clear image without any distortion. The lens surface is protected against scratches by a hardened T-Shell™ coating. The entire system is designed to be fully compatible with night vision devices. For users with vision impairments, Saber Advanced offers the option to install PTX prescription inserts. Various frame colors and a wide range of lenses are available for optimal adaptation to any lighting conditions.
BALLISTIC CERTIFICATIONS AND SAFETY STANDARDS
Saber Advanced glasses meet the strictest standards for resistance to high-energy impacts:
- MIL-PRF-3243( GL):: this U.S. military standard guarantees that the glasses can withstand an impact from a .15-caliber fragment traveling at speeds of up to 724 km/h
- ANSI Z87.1: a standard confirming resistance to impact from a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball traveling at 165 km/h
- EN.166F: a European standard for personal eye protection ensuring safety against impacts from objects traveling at 162 km/h
LENS OPTIONS
- Smoke Grey: 15% light transmission; ideal for bright days, effectively reduces glare without color distortion
- Clear: 89% light transmission; ensures maximum light transmission, suitable for indoor use, low-light conditions, or night operations
- Light Rust (Orange): 52% light transmission; enhances contrast and depth of field by filtering out blue light, ideal for fog or cloudy weather
- Vermillion (Pink): 50% light transmission; excellent for medium to low light conditions, enhances contrast in green environments
