Replacement Shield SABER ADVANCED glasses, Wiley X®
Original replacement lenses made from high-density Selenite™ polycarbonate for maximum strength. Each lens features a T-Shell™ hardened coating, which significantly increases scratch resistance and extends the lens’s lifespan in field conditions. Sophisticated optics guarantee a clear image without color or spatial distortion, which is crucial for accurately perceiving the surroundings while shooting or in challenging terrain.
The lens exchange system is designed for intuitive and quick handling, allowing you to react instantly to changes in light intensity—from direct sunlight to operations inside buildings. All lens variants provide 100% protection against harmful UVA and UVB radiation and meet the same safety standards as the lenses included in the original kits.
AVAILABLE LENS OPTIONS
- Smoke Grey (Dark): 15% light transmission; maximally reduces glare on bright days without distorting color perception
- Clear: 89% light transmission; provides the highest possible light transmission, ideal for indoor use, at dusk, or at night
- Light Rust (Orange): 52% light transmission; enhances contrast in poor lighting conditions (fog, overcast) by filtering out blue light
- Yellow: 85% light transmission; the best choice for enhancing contrast in very low light and dense fog
- Vermillion (Pink): Greatly enhances contrast and improves depth perception in medium to low light conditions.
BALLISTIC CERTIFICATIONS AND SAFETY STANDARDS
Replacement lenses meet the strictest standards for eye protection:
- ANSI Z87.1: certification confirming resistance to impact from a 6.35 mm steel ball traveling at 165 km/h
- EN.166F: European standard ensuring mechanical resistance to impact from objects traveling at 162 km/h
