Replacement Shield for SPEAR DUAL, Wiley X®
Replacement shields with the Dual Lens system are the ideal solution if your original shileds are scratched, or if you want to expand the capabilities of your SPEAR DUAL glasses with different shields colors. Thanks to their two-layer construction separated by an air gap, they act as an insulator that prevents moisture condensation even during intense physical activity. The lenses use Selenite™ polycarbonate for maximum ballistic resistance, feature a T-Shell™ scratch-resistant coating, and have an anti-fog interior treatment. They are designed for intuitive replacement and are fully compatible with prescription inserts and night vision devices.
BALLISTIC CERTIFICATIONS AND SAFETY STANDARDS
- MIL-PRF-32432A: U.S. military standard guaranteeing protection against impact from a .15-caliber fragment traveling at speeds up to 796 km/h
- ANSI Z87.1: standard confirming resistance to impact from a 6.35 mm steel ball traveling at 165 km/h
- EN 166B: European standard for personal eye protection ensuring safety against high-speed impacts
AVAILABLE REPLACEMENT LENS OPTIONS
- Smoke Grey (Dark): 15% light transmission; evenly absorbs colors for natural perception, ideal for bright lighting conditions
- Clear (Clear): 89–90% light transmission; maximum light transmission and accurate colors, suitable for indoor use or in low light
- Light Rust (Orange): 52% light transmission; enhances contrast by filtering out blue light, ideal for medium and low light conditions
