Today, many manufacturers try to imitate the famous American field jacket M-65 in various ways. The German Brandit produces it even in several different variants.
The M-65 Standard field jacket is a very decent base, more suitable for fish, forest or anywhere else, where you prefer practicality to show, than to Vietnam. There is a more fashionable Brandit M-65 Giant for it, fitting even in the center of civilization.
But most importantly, the M-65 Standard field jacket is really universal thanks to the removable insulated liner, so you can comfortably last in winter, autumn and cold spring mornings. Newly, this jacket is even made straight with a repellent treatment against water, so even the rain cannot surprise you.
The hood hidden in the collar and the material combining the advantages of polyester and cotton protect you from an unexpected shower. Of course, there is not only a number of spacious pockets, but also a drawstring adjustable waist and bottom of the jacket, not allowing you to blow through.

- Decent quality workmanship and very good thermal insulation in winter with liner.
- Relatively quickly (in about two years of use in autumn to spring) damage begins to appear on the sleeves of the jacket, where there was abrasion due to the length of the sleeve. The fabric begins to shake slightly and also begins to be known in the most exposed places. Compared to the original TS jacket (model of the South Vietnamese army), which it has owned sometime since 1988 and which is still in usable condition, the lower quality of the fabric material is known. However, for that price, I buy a new jacket every two years and it's fine. Who wants, can pay extra for NYCO material, but what will the jacket look like after two years ...?
- Slušná kvalita provedení a velmi dobrá tepelná izolace v zimě s vložkou.
- Poměrně rychle (cca za dva roky užívání podzim až jaro) se začínají objevovat poškození na rukávech bundy, kde došlo k díky délce rukávu k otěru. Látka se začíná mírně třepit a taky začíná být na nejexponovanějších místech znát sepranost. Ve srovnání s originální bundou TS(vzor jihovietnamské armády), kterou vlastním někdy od roku 1988 a která je stále v použitelném stavu je znát nižší kvalita materiálu látky. Nicméně za tu cenu s koupím každé dva roky novou bundu a je to v pohodě. Kdo chce, může si připlatit za materiál NYCO, ale jak bude vypadat bunda po dvou letech ...?
