The LifeSaver filtration system uses a sophisticated two-stage water purification technology that ensures high efficiency and safety in field conditions.

• In the first stage, water is forced through a hollow-fiber ultrafiltration membrane using a manual pump. This highly effective filter removes bacteria, viruses, parasites, microplastics, and other impurities larger than 0.015 µm (15 nanometers). Thanks to its extremely fine filtration capability, the system can remove even very small microorganisms that many standard outdoor filters fail to capture.

For comparison, many conventional filtration systems on the market filter particles only down to approximately 0.1 µm (100 nanometers).
