LEOPARD 256 uses modern thermal imaging technology based on an uncooled Vox sensor. This type of sensor is known for its reliability and ability to detect temperature differences with high sensitivity. The resolution of the sensor is 256 x 192 pixels, providing a sufficient level of detail for object identification. The pixel size is 12 µm x 12 µm, providing high sensitivity to temperature changes and more accurate detection. The frame rate is 50 Hz. This is important for smooth imaging of moving objects without delay.

The LEOPARD 256 is equipped with high quality optics which contribute significantly to the performance of the device. The optical magnification is 2.9x, which provides a basic level of zoom without sacrificing image quality. The digital zoom offers four levels of digital zoom (2x, 4x, 6x, 8x), increasing the ability to observe distant objects in detail. The instrument can detect objects up to 800 meters away, which is sufficient for most field applications.

The LEOPARD 256 features an advanced OLED display that provides high contrast and clear images in all lighting conditions. The display resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels. The device offers different modes that optimize the image according to the environment (city, rain and forest). Users can switch between different color modes (WT-HOT, BK-HOT, RD-HOT, IN-HOT, SKY) to customize the image for easier identification of objects in different conditions.

LEOPARD 256 not only enables real-time observation but also recording of image data. The photos are in 1024 x 768 pixel resolution in .JPG format. Video recording is in the same quality (1024 x 768 pixels) in .MP4 format. Recordings can be stored using the built-in 32 GB EMMC memory, which provides ample space for recording photos and videos.

The LEOPARD 256 is equipped with a number of features that enhance its practicality. The PIP (Picture-in-Picture) function allows a detailed preview of a specific area of the image. The integrated gyroscope improves image stability during movement. Automatic overwriting of old footage ensures that you never run out of storage space. The Hot Track function automatically tracks the hottest point in the image. The device also features Wi-Fi. Thanks to the PardVision2 app, you can remotely access the device's features and share recordings.

The LEOPARD 256 is designed to be energy efficient while providing long runtime. The 18650 lithium-ion battery is rechargeable and replaceable. Operating time per charge is up to 6 hours.
