Helikon Supertarp Small Spark Resistant Tarp
The Supertarp Small Spark Resistant by Helikon is a versatile tarp designed for quickly building a field shelter. It provides reliable protection against rain, wind, and sun, and thanks to its compact size, it is suitable for bushcraft, hiking, and emergency situations.
The tarp features 19 attachment points, allowing multiple setup configurations depending on terrain and available equipment. It can be used as a classic shelter, an emergency tent, a cover over a hammock, or simple protection above a campsite.
The material is a lightweight, waterproof fabric made of 100% nylon with a protective coating. The fabric is durable and offers increased resistance to sparks and brief contact with open flame, reducing the risk of burn-through when sitting near a campfire. However, the material is not fully fireproof – prolonged exposure to fire may cause damage.
The package includes a practical stuff sack, allowing the tarp to be easily packed even after a rainy night. With a weight of only 941 g, it offers a well-balanced compromise between durability and weight.
