The TETRAO Protein Concentrate is a supplementary mineral feed intended for roe deer, red deer, fallow deer, and mouflon. It is designed for periods of increased nutritional demands during antler and horn development, supplying high-quality protein, minerals, trace elements, and vitamins essential for proper trophy development and the overall condition of the animals.

The formula was developed based on the practical experience of wildlife nutrition experts and tested by the Department of Applied Zoology and Wildlife Management together with the University Forest Enterprise of the Technical University in Zvolen. The concentrate also helps maintain and stabilise rumen microflora, supporting efficient digestion and nutrient utilisation.

The antler and horn growth period places considerable demands on the animal's body. An adequate supply of minerals, high-quality protein, and vitamins supports proper antler mineralisation, skeletal development, and the condition of females during pregnancy and offspring development. The manufacturer recommends starting supplementation as early as autumn to allow game to build sufficient nutrient reserves.

The concentrate contains a carefully balanced blend of macro minerals, trace elements, and vitamins. The macro minerals include calcium, phosphorus, sodium, and magnesium. The trace elements include copper, manganese, zinc, selenium, iodine, and cobalt. Vitamins A and D3 support proper metabolism and the efficient utilisation of minerals.

The formula is based on extracted soybean meal, extracted rapeseed meal, barley, wheat bran, monocalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, oats, and sodium chloride. The feed is administered dry as a supplement to the natural diet or the basic feeding ration. The recommended mixing ratio is 1 part concentrate to 3 parts cereal feed.

The product is manufactured in Slovakia by a company with more than 30 years of experience and is supplied in a practical 25 kg bag.
