Description
Dogtrace Prong Dog Collar with Metal Buckle
The Dogtrace Prong Dog Collar with a metal buckle is a training collar designed for more precise communication with your dog during training. Thanks to its robust construction and high-quality workmanship, it is particularly suitable for medium and large dog breeds and, when used correctly, serves as an effective training aid for obedience work.
The collar offers outstanding strength, long service life, and excellent corrosion resistance (stainless steel version). Every individual link is manufactured with an emphasis on maximum durability and reliability for regular use.
A major advantage is its modular design, which allows the collar length to be easily adjusted by adding or removing individual links. This makes it easy to achieve the correct fit according to your dog's neck size.
The collar is available in 53 cm and 60 cm versions. The 53 cm model features links with a 2.3 mm diameter, while the 60 cm version uses more robust 3 mm diameter links. Both versions have 18 mm prongs.
The version equipped with a centre plate keeps the prongs facing each other, helping to maintain the correct collar position during use.
Note: A prong collar is a training aid intended for experienced users. If you are unfamiliar with this type of collar, the manufacturer recommends using it for the first time under the supervision of an experienced dog trainer.
