TETRAO Pheasant Feed

TETRAO Pheasant Feed includes two complete feed formulas designed for pheasants and quails from hatching to adulthood – a starter feed for chicks up to 3 weeks of age and a grower feed from 3 weeks of age to adulthood. Thanks to their balanced composition, the feeds provide young birds with all the essential nutrients required for rapid growth, proper development, and a strong foundation for further rearing.

The formulas were developed based on the practical experience of wildlife nutrition experts and tested by the Department of Applied Zoology and Wildlife Management together with the University Forest Enterprise of the Technical University in Zvolen.

The 4 mm pellets are also suitable for use in automatic feeders. The manufacturer recommends providing birds with constant access to clean drinking water and grit, which is essential for the proper digestion of hard grains. The feed also helps reduce damage to agricultural crops by encouraging regular consumption of supplementary feed.

Both formulas are based on corn, wheat, soybean meal, wheat bran, rapeseed meal, calcium carbonate, Wilblend oil, monocalcium phosphate, and sodium chloride. The feed is manufactured by a Slovak company with more than 30 years of experience and is supplied in 25 kg bags.

Feed up to 3 weeks:

This formula contains coccidiostats, which are commonly used in starter feeds for young poultry and help protect chicks during the most sensitive stage of development.

The high content of quality proteins, essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals supports rapid growth, proper skeletal development, feather formation, and the overall vitality of young birds. Regular feeding contributes to lower mortality, improved feed conversion, the rearing of strong flying birds, and reduced reliance on medication in intensive breeding.

Feed from 3 weeks:

The balanced content of quality proteins, essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements supports the proper development of the skeleton, plumage, and muscles. The feed contributes to improved feed conversion, the rearing of strong flying birds, lower mortality, and reduced reliance on medication in intensive breeding.

The formula is also suitable during the moulting period, when an adequate supply of nutrients promotes the development of strong, healthy, and glossy plumage. During the breeding season, it also provides essential nutrients for the production of quality eggs and sufficient energy for adult birds.
