LYCOS SHORT pants, PENTAGON
The Lycos Short Pants are highly durable BDU-style shorts designed for demanding outdoor operations, tactical missions, and urban mobility. They are made from high-strength fabric weighing 215 g/m² with a dense ripstop weave that effectively prevents tears from spreading. The fabric’s surface is treated with a water-repellent coating to enhance resistance to moisture and dirt. The closure features a proven YKK main zipper, an internal safety button, and a sturdy PRYM snap. The ergonomic cut, featuring a raised seat and contoured back, ensures that the pants stay securely in place even during dynamic movement, squats, or running. High-stress areas and pockets are reinforced with triple stitching and protective patches against abrasion, such as from a pocket knife clip.
The storage system consists of a well-thought-out configuration of ten pockets for organized placement of carried items and easy access. On the sides are two spacious cargo pockets with flaps, complemented by two smaller front thigh pockets for small accessories. Two specialized pockets in the groin area are designed for storing magazines or tools, while the back features two pockets that close with Velcro. The list of storage options is rounded out by two classic deep hand pockets with reinforced edges. The shorts are equipped with sturdy, reinforced loops for robust tactical belts.
