The HE509T X2 features Holosun's proven Multi-Reticle System (MRS), allowing shooters to switch between a precise 2 MOA dot and a combined 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA center dot. The standalone 2 MOA dot excels in precision shooting at longer distances, while the circle-dot combination allows for extremely fast target acquisition during dynamic and close-range engagements.

One of the key features of the HE509T X2 is Solar FailSafe™ technology, which utilizes an integrated solar panel to automatically adjust reticle brightness based on ambient lighting conditions. Under sufficient light, the optic can operate directly from solar power, reducing battery consumption. When light levels decrease, the system automatically switches to the CR1632 battery. The solar mode can also be manually disabled if desired.

The optic incorporates Shake Awake™ technology, which automatically powers the sight down when inactive and instantly reactivates it upon movement. Combined with Holosun’s efficient LED system, this feature helps achieve an impressive battery life of up to 50,000 hours. Integrated memory retains the last brightness setting and selected reticle configuration when the optic is turned off.
