The Vortex Defender-ST Enclosed is a modern enclosed micro red dot sight engineered for maximum durability, rapid target acquisition, and reliable operation in demanding environments. Featuring a rugged enclosed housing, long battery life, and compatibility with the DeltaPoint® Pro footprint, it is an excellent choice for pistols, PCC platforms, and tactical applications.
The optic is built around a durable 6061 aluminum enclosed housing, protecting the internal optical system from debris, moisture, and mechanical damage. The rugged construction is designed to withstand heavy recoil, impacts, and harsh weather conditions. Its low-glare matte black anodized finish minimizes unwanted reflections.
The Defender-ST utilizes a bright 3 MOA red dot, providing fast and precise aiming for close- and medium-range shooting. It features 10 brightness settings, including two night vision-compatible modes. The large viewing window offers an expansive field of view for faster target acquisition.
An aspherical lens delivers a distortion-free sight picture and accurate color representation. The optic is considered effectively parallax free, minimizing point-of-impact shift caused by eye position changes.
Power is supplied by a CR2032 battery with up to 20,000 hours of runtime. Motion activation technology automatically powers the optic on when movement is detected, while the 10-minute auto-shutoff function helps conserve battery life. The side-loading battery compartment allows battery replacement without removing or rezeroing the optic.
The Defender-ST Enclosed offers unlimited eye relief, intuitive top-mounted controls, and a waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof design. Thanks to its DeltaPoint® Pro mounting footprint, it is compatible with a wide variety of modern pistol optics systems and mounting plates.
