The FD1 has a CMOS sensor that is known for its high sensitivity and low power consumption. The sensor's high resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels allows it to capture sharp details and provides clear images in daylight and nighttime. The smaller pixel size of 2.9 µm provides better resolution in low light. A higher frame rate of 60 Hz in color mode ensures smooth images when viewing moving objects. In black and white mode, the frequency is 30 Hz.

The device can be used for mounting on a rifle scope or as a stand-alone monocular. The FD1 has an OLED display that provides a bright and contrasty display that is easy to read in a variety of lighting conditions. The high resolution of the 1440 x 1080 pixel display ensures sharp details when aiming or observing. The user can choose from 6 styles and 4 colors of crosshairs to suit their preference and current conditions. The Pard FD1 allows switching between color and black and white displays for optimal visibility in daylight and nighttime.

The device can record video with audio and photos in high quality 2592×1944 pixels. A large number of photos and videos can be stored without the need for frequent data transfer on a TF card with a capacity of up to 128 GB.

The device contains a large number of useful features, including PIP (Picture-in-Picture), which allows a detailed preview of the target in the main field of view.
