Gerber Edgefield Pack Sharpener is a compact field sharpener that offers a practical way to keep the edge of your knife in good condition at home, on the road or outdoors. Thanks to its three sharpening surfaces, it allows you to gradually restore a dull edge, smooth the cutting edge and finish the sharpening with a ceramic rod.

The sharpening elements are integrated into a rotating body. Simply rotate the body to select the desired sharpening stage, and after use, the sharpening elements can be safely stored inside the construction. This makes the sharpener easy to carry in a backpack or pocket without unnecessary risk of damaging other equipment.

Three stages for restoring the edge

Gerber Edgefield Pack Sharpener combines two diamond sharpening surfaces and a ceramic rod. The coarser diamond surface with a 220 grit is designed for working with significantly dull edges and for faster material removal. It is followed by a finer 600-grit diamond surface, which helps smooth and further refine the edge.

The final step is the ceramic rod, designed for fine sharpening and finishing the edge. The individual stages can therefore be used progressively depending on the condition of the blade, or you can use only the finer element for regular touch-ups.

Integrated 20° angle guide

Stable during sharpening, protected when carried

The bottom of the sharpener features stabilizing feet that help keep the tool securely in place when used on a firm surface. The rotating design also serves as a protective cover for the sharpening elements, keeping the Edgefield Pack Sharpener well protected when stored in a backpack or other gear.

An attachment hole for a cord or lanyard is located at the end of the body, allowing the sharpener to be easily attached to your equipment and kept within reach during outdoor activities.
