Dogtrace DOG GPS Protective Dog Vest
The DOG GPS Protective Dog Vest by Dogtrace has been developed for hunting dogs working at long distances in demanding terrain. It combines high visibility, protection for vital areas of the dog's body, and compatibility with Dogtrace GPS tracking devices, making it an ideal piece of equipment for both hunting and training.
The most exposed chest area is protected by a reinforced layer of aramid fibres (Kevlar), helping to reduce the risk of injuries caused by sharp branches and other obstacles in the field. At the same time, the vest remains lightweight and does not restrict the dog's movement when running or overcoming obstacles.
The vest features an integrated pocket for Dogtrace DOG GPS X20, X25, X30, and X40/X40T tracking collars, allowing the tracking device to be carried securely without affecting its performance. A practical attachment loop for a leash is also located on the back of the vest.
High-visibility side panels in contrasting colours make it easier to determine the direction in which the dog is indicating game, a valuable feature during driven hunts. Safety in the field is further enhanced by 3M reflective elements and reflective printing, improving the dog's visibility in low-light conditions.
Sizes XS and S feature an adjustable elastic neck section with buckles for a more secure and comfortable fit. Sizes M and L are equipped with the Dogtrace logo.
To ensure a long service life, the manufacturer recommends washing the vest in a laundry bag on a delicate cycle at a maximum temperature of 30 °C. The vest can be tumble dried on a low heat setting. Before washing and drying, always fasten all buckles and zips.
