The 5.11 Bastion Jacket is the peak of tactical clothing when you're in an unpredictable environment and need complete confidence that the weather won't catch you by surprise. Its construction combines a two-layer hardshell with water resistance and an advanced blood borne pathogen resistant membrane to protect the wearer from biological hazards. This feature is crucial for emergency responders, paramedics and security professionals who may come into contact with bodily fluids.
Thermal comfort is ensured by the premium Primaloft® Silver Eco insulation. Ergonomic fit, adjustable cuffs, internal wind baffles and underarm vents ensure thermal comfort even during strenuous movement.
The jacket is equipped with a number of practical pockets. All are designed for safe storage of gear and have handy loops inside. Reinforced shoulder and sleeve areas made from durable nylon increase the durability of the jacket even when used more heavily or carrying heavy gear.
