Yupik Reversible Skirt - Windpack® Nylon
The Yupik Reversible Insulated Skirt is a thoughtfully designed functional garment created for cold, windy, and unpredictable conditions. It is ideal for outdoor activities, travel, tactical use, and everyday wear during colder months. The skirt combines low weight, excellent thermal performance, and practical functionality in a compact and highly durable design. Thanks to its reversible construction, it can be worn on both sides, with the inner side finished in discreet black, making it suitable for low-profile or tactical applications.
The outer shell is made from WindPack® nylon, an ultra-lightweight yet durable fabric that provides reliable protection against wind and light rain. This material is also highly packable, allowing the skirt to be folded down to a minimal size and easily carried in a backpack as an emergency or supplementary insulation layer. It is an excellent solution for situations where quick thermal comfort is required without adding unnecessary bulk or weight.
Thermal insulation is provided by Climashield® Apex with a 67 g/m² weight. This advanced synthetic insulation is widely used in professional outdoor and tactical gear. Thanks to its continuous filament technology, it offers outstanding thermal efficiency even in wet conditions, maintaining warmth and insulating performance when exposed to moisture. The insulation dries quickly and ensures consistent thermal comfort in demanding environments.
The skirt is equipped with two full-length side zippers, which make putting it on and taking it off quick and effortless. These zippers also allow for effective ventilation control during movement. They are fitted with fabric pull tabs for easy operation, even while wearing gloves, and include a braking mechanism that allows precise and controlled adjustment.
Additional comfort is provided by two side pockets lined with soft velour, perfect for warming hands in cold weather. The elastic waistband ensures a comfortable and secure fit while adapting naturally to different body shapes without restricting movement. Subtle decorative stitching, a small brand logo label, and precise craftsmanship highlight the high-quality construction and long service life of the skirt, even under intensive use.
