TETRAO Year-Round Pellet Feed for Hoofed Game

The TETRAO Year-Round Pellet Feed is a supplementary pelleted feed designed for the year-round feeding of roe deer, red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, and other hoofed game. In the wild, it is primarily intended for use from autumn through spring, while in game reserves and deer farms it can be fed throughout the year.

The formula was developed based on the practical experience of wildlife nutrition experts and tested by the Department of Applied Zoology and Wildlife Management and the University Forest Enterprise of the Technical University in Zvolen. Regular feeding supports good health, resilience, and the overall condition of game animals while contributing to their proper development.

The pellets contain a balanced combination of proteins, energy, fibre, macro minerals, trace elements, and vitamins. They contribute to healthy antler development in males, support the proper development of offspring during pregnancy, and help maintain the overall condition of game animals throughout the year. According to the manufacturer, regular supplementary feeding may also help reduce damage to agricultural crops and limit game migration across roads.

The feed contains a balanced blend of calcium, phosphorus, sodium, and magnesium, supplemented with trace elements, including copper, manganese, zinc, selenium, iodine, and cobalt. The formula is also enriched with vitamins A and D3, which support proper metabolism and the efficient utilization of minerals.

The feed is based on oats, barley, alfalfa meal, sunflower extraction meal, dried sugar beet pulp, wheat bran, monocalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, and sodium chloride. The 4 mm pellets are suitable for automatic feeders and allow easy handling and dosing.

The recommended daily intake for red deer is 0.5–1 kg per animal during winter and 0.5–1.5 kg per animal per day from April onwards (in game reserves and deer farms).

The product is manufactured in Slovakia by a company with more than 30 years of experience and is supplied in a practical 25 kg package.
