Description
WX RECON Sunglasses by Wiley X®
The WX RECON by Wiley X® is designed for users who require a combination of eye protection, durability, and comfort during demanding use. Its sporty tactical profile makes it suitable for outdoor activities, work, shooting, and other situations where a secure fit and reliable eye protection are essential.
For a secure fit, the sunglasses feature rubberised nose pads and rubberised sections on the temples, which help prevent unwanted movement during activity. The construction is designed with an emphasis on long-lasting comfort and stability during active use.
The model comes with attachable side shields that provide additional protection to the peripheral area of the eyes. Depending on the intended use, they can be attached for increased lateral protection or removed for a more casual appearance.
The lenses feature CAPTIVATE™ technology designed to optimise the perception of colours, contrast, and details. Specific properties vary depending on the selected lens variant. Polarised versions also help reduce distracting glare from reflective surfaces, which is particularly beneficial around water, while driving, and during other activities in bright light.
The WX RECON meets the requirements of the ANSI Z87.1+ and EN 166F standards. EN 166F covers protection against low-energy impact, while ANSI Z87.1+ specifies requirements for eye and face protection, including impact resistance.
