key properties of POLYCOLON®:

A hydrophobic fibre used for the inner parts of hats and headbands, it does not absorb moisture, but only wicks it to the outer layer where the moisture evaporates. Polycolon has excellent thermal properties and in terms of weight, it is about 40% lighter than cotton.

MERINO WOOL

Soft, very comfortable and antibacterial. This wool has the natural ability to remain for a long time without the odour caused by bacteria that tend to reproduce in the traditional synthetic fibre or cotton underwear and clothing.

Merino wool is warm even when damp - it can hold moisture equal to up to a third of its weight and prevent the feeling of cold. Lastly, it is also fireproof, water repellent and has high UV protection, with a natural sun protection factor of min. UPF = 25.
