Windrunner Pants - Windpack® Nylon
The Windrunner Pants by Helikon-Tex are ultra-lightweight, packable, and highly functional windproof pants designed to provide protection in cold and dry environments. They are an excellent choice for outdoor activities, trekking, bushcraft, tactical use, and everyday carry as an emergency outer layer. With an extremely low weight of only 175 g, they take up minimal space in a backpack and are always ready when weather conditions suddenly change.
The main material is WindPack® Nylon with a fabric weight of 42 g/m², offering excellent wind resistance, fast drying properties, and exceptional packability. These pants are intended for dry climatic conditions ranging from -15 to -5 °C, where they effectively reduce wind chill and help maintain thermal comfort during movement or rest. Despite their low weight, the fabric is durable enough for active use in demanding terrain.
One of the key features is the Self-pack System, allowing the pants to be packed into one of their own pockets. When turned inside out, the pocket transforms into a compact pouch, making transport and storage extremely convenient.
