Water purification Highlander
Based in Scotland, the Highlander brand is a long-standing mainstay in the outdoor and tactical gear market. The history of this family-owned company dates back to the 1980s, when it was founded with a vision to offer functional and durable products that could withstand the harsh conditions of the Scottish Highlands. It is precisely these unforgiving natural conditions that serve as the primary testing ground for the development of all products, from backpacks and tents to clothing and small accessories for survival in the wild.
The emphasis on practicality and high utility value makes this brand a sought-after choice among outdoor enthusiasts, soldiers, and travelers who demand reliability without unnecessary markups for marketing frills. The portfolio includes a wide range of gear that combines modern technology with proven materials, such as high-strength nylon or advanced weather-resistant coatings. The manufacturer has long focused on ensuring that its equipment is intuitive, easy to repair, and ready for years of intensive use in the field.
More info
Outdoor Water Filter, Highlander
Without drinkable water, a person can only function for a few days, depending on the circumstances. In extreme temperatures, however, dehydration occurs even within a few hours. If you are dehydrated and have no other option, it can be very tempting to drink from a stream in the woods, etc. However, you never know what germs are in the water, so it is advisable to supplement your kit with some form of water purification.
DISINFECTANT TABLETS
Water disinfectants usually use silver ions or chlorine and are safe for users' health. In addition, they leave no odor or aftertaste. The main advantage of disinfection tablets lies in the fact, that they "preserve" the water, and once treated, the water remains drinkable for several months. The disadvantage is the longer preparation time it takes to make water drinkable (the water treatment tablet must be left on for several tens of minutes).
