The Video Scenario Trainer Pro 2.0 (VST Pro) is a high-end professional add-on to the Smokeless Range Simulator, designed for advanced use-of-force training, situational awareness, and decision-making under stress. It is not a standalone simulator, but a powerful expansion module intended for law enforcement agencies, military units, training facilities, and professional instructors.
VST Pro uses HD video-based scenarios that dynamically branch into different outcomes based on the trainee’s actions or real-time instructor input. Each scenario can evolve in multiple directions, accurately reflecting real-world situations where timing, judgment, and threat assessment are just as critical as shot placement.
The system includes a powerful scene and zone editor, allowing instructors to create custom scenarios using their own videos—such as footage from schools, parking lots, offices, or public spaces. The zone editor enables precise hit-zone placement, ensuring that only valid hits trigger scenario progression. This feature significantly enhances realism and training value.
A built-in replay and shot review function automatically pauses the video when a shot is detected and displays the exact hit location for immediate feedback. The included VST Pro Control Station gives instructors an independent view of the scenario, a progress bar for timing decisions, and easy control over branching paths.
