Typhoon Chest Rig by Direct Action
The Typhoon Chest Rig is the newest addition to the Direct Action lineup, offering the largest available mounting surface while maintaining a compact profile and full user mobility. Its construction combines laminate with durable mesh, ensuring strength, breathability, and low weight. The laser-cut slots form a fully MOLLE/PALS-compatible interface, allowing you to configure the platform precisely to your role and mission needs.
The Typhoon can be used in several ways: with the main panel only, with the foldable chest panel, or in a configuration with a front ballistic plate thanks to the included stabilizing adapter. Four internal Velcro®-closed pockets provide space for maps, documents, and other flat items. The shoulder straps feature cut-outs for attaching additional accessories, further expanding configuration options. With its large mounting surface, the Typhoon is ideal for operations where you need to carry more equipment while remaining highly mobile.
