The Streamlight TLR-8 Sub is a compact tactical weapon light with an integrated laser, specifically designed for GLOCK® 43X/48 MOS and GLOCK® 43X/48 RAIL pistols. It combines a powerful 500-lumen white LED with a precise red (640–660 nm) or green (510–530 nm) laser, significantly enhancing target acquisition and identification in defensive and duty scenarios.

Its advanced optical system produces a sharp central beam with balanced peripheral illumination, allowing clear target recognition without sacrificing situational awareness. The light reaches a maximum distance of 141 meters with a peak intensity of 5000 candela, making it ideal for close- to mid-range engagements. Users can select between three operating modes: white LED only, white LED with laser, or laser only.

Operation is handled by a low-profile ambidextrous switch, suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters. An integrated strobe mode (user-disable option) adds tactical versatility for disorientation or signaling. Power comes from a single CR123A battery (included), providing approximately 1.5 hours of runtime.

The housing is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring durability while keeping the weight to just 78.5 g. A tool-free quick-attach mounting system allows fast and secure installation on the weapon rail, and a built-in safety lockout prevents accidental activation during transport.
