2nd Generation SG Timer GO Shot Timer by Shooters Global

Shooters Global SG Timer GO is a compact second-generation shot timer designed for range training as well as dry fire practice. Compared to the previous version, it features three physical buttons, a more durable water-resistant body and a battery with 11% higher capacity. Thanks to its straightforward controls, essential settings can be adjusted directly on the timer without the need to connect it to a phone.

SG Timer GO uses a sensitive sound sensor that reliably detects shots in a variety of shooting conditions. Smart Mode recognizes the sound of the trigger pull and records individual shot times, while Classic Mode provides a simple mode with PAR functionality. The sensor sensitivity can be adjusted from 1 to 100, and the timer can filter out echoes as well as shots fired by other shooters nearby.

The timer is also suitable for dry fire training. It can detect dry fire shots and, through the Drills app, allows you to create custom training exercises, record results and track your progress over time.

Smart Training with the Drills App

Bluetooth connectivity expands the capabilities of SG Timer GO with the advanced features of the Drills app. The app allows you to work with training data and also provides video analysis. You can connect your smartphone to the timer and record video in real time with shot times and other timer data overlaid on the footage. You can also upload an already recorded video and subsequently add data from the corresponding training session.

If you train without the SG Timer GO, the app can use AI to analyze the video, detect the start signal and individual shots, and create a corresponding overlay directly in the footage. This provides another way to analyze your shooting movements and compare them with your recorded times.

Connectivity with Other Devices

Bluetooth connectivity also allows the SG Timer GO to be used with other devices and platforms. The timer is compatible with PractiScore 2 and IPSC ESS and supports connection to Garmin watches and Apple Watch. Through the Drills app, you can also use start signal support with compatible Bluetooth hearing protection.

Up to 5,000 Training Sessions on a Single Charge

Designed for everyday use at the shooting range, the SG Timer GO features an integrated rechargeable battery with 11% higher capacity than the previous generation. The manufacturer states a battery life of up to 5,000 training sessions on a single charge. Charging is carried out via a standard USB-C connector.

The new timer body is also water resistant, making it better suited for outdoor use. The manufacturer does not specify a particular IP rating for the device.

Mounting Options for Different Uses

The SG Timer GO is available with three different mounting options. The timer itself is identical in all versions; only the included mounting system differs.
