Tigertrail Tropic Vest by Pentagon
The Tigertrail Tropic Vest by Pentagon is a modern interpretation of the classic safari vest. It is designed for users seeking a practical, lightweight, and well-ventilated vest with pockets, suitable for outdoor activities, travel, photography, and everyday wear. It combines functional features with a subtle appearance that avoids an overly tactical look.
The vest is constructed from a durable ripstop fabric consisting of 94% nylon and 6% elastane with a fabric weight of 144 g/m². The material offers an ideal balance of low weight, flexibility, and resistance to wear. Thanks to its stretch properties, the vest naturally adapts to movement and provides excellent comfort throughout the day.
For gear storage, the vest is equipped with four front flap pockets that provide quick access to frequently used items. The two lower pockets feature drainage grommets for easier water evacuation when used in demanding outdoor conditions. Behind the upper flaps, there are also two concealed zippered pockets that offer secure storage for documents, a phone, or other valuables.
Additional storage is provided by internal hook-and-loop pockets. One horizontal and one vertical pocket help keep equipment organized without adding unnecessary bulk to the vest.
In warm weather, you will appreciate the mesh lining and rear ventilation openings, which promote airflow and help regulate body temperature during movement and extended wear. The antibacterial fabric treatment also helps reduce the build-up of unwanted odors during active use.
Comfort is further enhanced by adjustable waist tabs, allowing the vest to be tailored more precisely to the wearer. The YKK® main zipper ensures smooth operation and long-term durability, while the integrated chin guard prevents irritation caused by contact between the zipper and the skin.
