The Thunderbolt Compact Chest Rig from Direct Action was created as a combination of the best features from the popular Hurricane and Tiger Moth models. The result is a compact yet highly versatile chest rig with fixed pouches for carbine and pistol magazines, a medical pouch, and other essential gear. The entire layout is designed to sit as close to the body as possible, increasing stability and comfort during dynamic movement.
The front panel features a zippered utility pocket for small items, and inside the panel there is also a flat pocket for documents or maps. Under the pouch section is a horizontal MOLLE/PALS row, enabling the addition of extra pouches or utility gear. The shoulder straps are removable and equipped with laser-cut openings for attaching PTT units or other small electronics.
The Thunderbolt Compact is made from a combination of Cordura 500D and nylon laminate, ensuring long-lasting durability even in demanding environments. The chest rig is fully compatible with the Direct Action interface and can be directly attached to the Spitfire and Hellcat plate carriers, turning it into a rapid-deployment combat platform. It is an ideal choice for professionals and advanced users seeking a compact, stable, and modular solution without compromise.
