The TETRAO Elanus 2.5–15×50 G4i riflescope is a versatile optical sight designed for hunters and shooters who require a wide magnification range, high-quality optics, and reliable performance in varying light and weather conditions. With a magnification range of 2.5–15×, the riflescope can be used for fast target acquisition and observation at shorter distances as well as for precise aiming at longer ranges.

The large 50 mm objective lens provides excellent light-gathering capability. Combined with the advanced FMC Advanced multi-coated optics, it achieves up to 92% light transmission, producing a bright, high-contrast image with good detail even in challenging lighting conditions. The exit pupil ranges from 11 to 3.3 mm, depending on the selected magnification.

The riflescope features a G4i reticle positioned in the second focal plane (SFP). The reticle maintains a consistent apparent size when magnification is changed, making it well suited for versatile hunting applications. The reticle also incorporates an illuminated center dot with six brightness settings, allowing the user to adjust illumination according to current lighting conditions. This can be particularly useful during dawn, dusk, or when aiming against a darker background.

For precise image adjustment, the scope features adjustable parallax from 10 meters to infinity. The fast-focus eyepiece allows quick and convenient adjustment of reticle sharpness. The scope is nitrogen purged, reducing the risk of internal fogging caused by sudden temperature changes. With an IPX7 water-resistant rating, it is designed to withstand rain and demanding outdoor conditions. The construction is also designed to withstand impacts and recoil, with a stated recoil resistance of up to 6000 J.

The elevation and windage adjustment system provides 0.1 MIL per click, allowing precise sight adjustment. Both horizontal and vertical adjustment ranges are ±43 MOA / ±12.5 MIL, providing sufficient adjustment range for different rifle and ammunition configurations.
