The TETRAO Buteo T-50 PRO Thermal Imaging Monocular is a high-performance thermal imaging device designed for hunters, wildlife observers, outdoor enthusiasts, and users who need reliable thermal detection and observation in demanding conditions. Combining a high-resolution thermal sensor, a fast 50 Hz refresh rate, versatile magnification, integrated recording, and wireless connectivity, it provides a practical and feature-rich solution for both daytime and nighttime observation.

At the heart of the Buteo T-50 PRO is a 640 × 512 thermal sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch, providing a detailed and clear thermal image. Combined with a 50 mm objective lens, the device offers a vehicle detection range of up to 3,472 meters. The high 50 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth image reproduction and makes it easier to follow moving objects without distracting image stuttering.

The device offers variable magnification from 1.6× to 12.8×, together with a 1–8× digital zoom, allowing the user to enlarge the image according to the situation. The integrated Picture-in-Picture (PiP) function displays an enlarged view of the selected area while maintaining a wider view of the surroundings, helping the user retain situational awareness during observation.

The thermal image is displayed on a 0.39-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. Users can choose from six color palettes, allowing the display to be adapted to different observation conditions and personal preferences. Manual focusing provides precise control over image sharpness according to the distance of the observed object.

The Buteo T-50 PRO also features 32 GB of built-in memory, allowing photographs and video recordings to be stored directly on the device. This makes it possible to document observations without requiring an external recording device. Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity allows the thermal monocular to be connected to a compatible mobile application for iOS and Android, providing convenient wireless interaction with the device.

Designed for demanding outdoor use, the housing features IP67 protection, providing resistance against dust and water. Its compact dimensions of 245 × 75 × 75 mm and weight of only 540 g make it easy to carry and comfortable to use during longer observation sessions.

The integrated battery provides up to 8 hours of operating time, while charging is handled via USB-C. The intuitive controls make the device straightforward to operate, even when quick adjustments are required in the field.
