PERENNIAL SEED MIX

The TETRAO perennial seed mix for small game and roe deer is a practical solution for establishing a feeding plot and diversifying the food supply in a hunting area. The mix was developed in collaboration with the NPPC and field-tested with the National Forestry Center in Zvolen, where its germination rate, stand stability, and actual appeal to wildlife were verified.

Thanks to its perennial nature, it is not necessary to replant the stand every year. A carefully selected combination of forage crops, grasses, herbs, and other plants creates a natural food source that wildlife actively seeks out. 

The stand can be established, for example, on suitable areas within the hunting district or at forest edges, where the soil has sufficient nutrients and the site receives ample sunlight. The mixture can also help increase habitat diversity in areas dominated by large-scale agricultural monocultures.

The mixture includes, for example, red clover and white clover, alfalfa, vetch, fescues, bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, buckwheat, oats, sorghum, mustard, phacelia, and other root and herbaceous species.
