The Pard Pantera 480 uses an uncooled VOx (vanadium dioxide) detector, which is an advanced technology that enables high-level heat detection. The sensor resolution is 480x360 pixels with a pixel size of 12x12 micrometers. This combination provides high sensitivity and image sharpness, allowing the user to see even the smallest details in the field. NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) is ≤20 mK (0.02℃), ensuring accurate detection of even the smallest temperature differences.

The 50 Hz frame rate ensures smooth imaging, which is crucial when tracking moving objects. The detection distance for this type is 1800 meters and the lens diameter is 35 mm. The Pard Pantera 480 offers an optical magnification of 2.3x. The digital zoom is available in 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x, providing flexibility when tracking targets at different distances.

The device features an IPS display with 800x800 pixel resolution that provides a clear and sharp image even in low visibility. Users have six different reticle styles and the option to select the reticle color (red, white, yellow, green) to customize the image to specific conditions.

Scene modes (city, rain, forest) allow you to optimize the image based on ambient conditions. A variety of display modes are also available, including WT-HOT, BK-HOT, EDGE, RD-HOT, IN-HOT and SKY, allowing you to highlight temperature contrasts as needed.

The Pard Pantera 480 allows you to take 1536x1536 pixel photos in .JPG format and record video in .mp4 format with 768x768 pixel resolution. The riflescope has an automatic video recording function after the shot. Another interesting feature is the Hot Track function, which automatically tracks the hottest point in the image. The recordings are stored on a Micro SD card with a maximum capacity of 128 GB, which allows sufficient storage for longer tracking events.

For easy connectivity and data transfer, the device is equipped with USB Type-C, HDMI output and WiFi support. Compatibility with the PardVision2 app allows remote access to the image and control of the device via a smart device. The device is powered by a single 18650 lithium-ion battery with 3.7V. The maximum operating time per charge is up to 6 hours. The device also supports external power supply via USB Type-C. The Pard Pantera 480 is made of aluminum alloy, which ensures high durability as well as light weight. The device meets the IP67 standard, which stands for dust and water resistance. The operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +55°C, allowing use in extreme climatic conditions.
