Tempest Chest Rig by Direct Action

The Tempest Chest Rig by Direct Action is one of the front-zip models based on the Hurricane platform, but designed in a lighter and much cleaner configuration. Most of the sewn-on pouches have been removed to create a low-profile, lightweight and highly versatile setup suited for dynamic operations. The only remaining pouches are two adjustable magazine pouches compatible with AR, AK and SR magazines, ensuring essential ammunition capacity. The entire front surface is covered with a MOLLE/PALS system, allowing you to attach any pouches or mission-specific accessories.

Each panel also includes an internal flat Velcro®-closed pocket, ideal for maps, target photos or other flat documents. The shoulder straps are detachable and fully modular, enabling you to attach the chest rig directly to a compatible Direct Action plate carrier. The laminate construction combined with Cordura® 500D and 210D Nylon provides excellent durability, while the integrated cable and antenna routing keeps the entire setup clean and organized.
