Tactical Shoes Commodore O2 Boot, Bennon, 41

Choosing shoes is "alchemy". It pays to give yourself enough time to choose and try. I have had Bennon boots for many years and have put many miles in them in all seasons and on all terrains. I chose these new shoes out of six (4x Bennon and 2x others). The advantage was that I ordered all the shoes at the store and could try them on. My advice: "Feeling that I can go on a 30km hike right from the store" means no compromise like ... the shoe will come off. I followed the recommendation in the store and also bought Bennon socks - THANK YOU. I was out in the field all day this weekend. It rained heavily; terrain tall grass and mud. Feet dry (even warm thanks to the socks). In the afternoon, I climbed into the pond (about 7 cm from the top of my shoes) and scrubbed the mud with a broom for about 20 minutes. Still dry inside! My feet probably love Bennon shoes and I won't buy another one, but we are all original and it's really good to try and try and try before you buy. It will pay you back in a big way. Karel Polách
