The HIKMICRO T16 smart camera trap offers a revolutionary solution with a choice of 60° or 100° fields of view, which can be conveniently adjusted remotely via the app without the need to physically handle the device. The narrower angle is ideal for monitoring specific points and narrow forest trails, while the wider angle perfectly covers open meadows and feeding stations without creating blind spots. The camera captures photos in native 6 MP resolution for efficient cloud transfer, while detailed UHD images with a resolution of up to 24 MP can be downloaded on demand. Full HD video recording is complemented by clear audio from the built-in microphone. Night monitoring is provided by a completely invisible 940 nm IR illuminator with SmartIR technology, which automatically adjusts the lighting intensity and prevents overexposure of nearby objects.

The entire device is managed via the HIKMICRO Sight mobile app, fully localized in Czech and Slovak languages, which allows for complete parameter configuration, battery status monitoring, viewing of recordings, and display of the camera trap’s GPS location. The integrated SIM card works automatically on 4G networks, and the user simply selects from a range of monthly or annual data plans based on the volume of data downloaded. During installation in the field, the built-in Wi-Fi interface assists by providing a live preview of the scene within a 15-meter range. Detection is provided by a highly sensitive PIR sensor with a lightning-fast trigger response of just 0.4 seconds and a range of up to 25 meters. All data is stored directly to the internal 64 GB storage, completely eliminating the need to purchase traditional SD cards.
