Speed 4.0, AR 670-1 Boots, 5.11
Lightweight, proven in the field and loaded with value, the Speed 4.0 8" AR 670-1 is crafted with suede leather and 1200D nylon for durability. Force Foam® heel cushioning, an Ortholite® footbed, and a high-abrasion mesh tongue make sure your feet are feeling good no matter the job.
The ASTM slip- and oil-resistant outsole is stitched for hard use and 5.11's Heat Deflect material helps shield your feet from the heat of the pavement. This boot is AR 670-1 Compliant.

The requirements for AR 670-1 compliant boots are straightforward. In order to pass muster in the U.S. Army, boots will need to be 8 to 10 inches in height and have a plain toe. The sole should be made of rubber or polyurethane, and it should be the same color as the rest of the boot.
