Sleeping Bag Hyperion, 0° C, Thermarest
The Thermarest Hyperion ultra-light sleeping bag is the ideal choice for those who prioritise speed and lightweight kit. The insulation is made from 900 cuin fill goose down with a Nikwax Hydrophobic water-repellent finish and RDS certification. The treated down absorbs significantly less moisture and dries faster than untreated down. The outer layer is made from 10D RipStop Nylon with a DWR water-repellent finish, whilst the inner layer uses the same material supplemented by a layer of ThermaCapture, which reflects radiant body heat back to the body.
The construction utilises a zoned down distribution, with 70 per cent of the fill concentrated on the top and sides for maximum insulation from above, whilst 30 per cent remains on the back. Stitching into separate chambers prevents the down from clumping and the formation of cold spots. The anatomically shaped footbox helps to warm the feet quickly.
A key feature is the removable SynergyLink elastic straps for securing the sleeping bag to a sleeping mat, preventing it from slipping during sleep. The mummy-style cut provides ample space for natural movement. The entrance features a two-way zip with an internal cover flap to prevent heat loss.
