The Safariland 7390 ALS® MID-RIDE is a professional-duty belt holster designed for law enforcement and tactical use, where maximum firearm security, fast draw speed, and long-term durability are essential.

The holster features the proven ALS® retention system (Automatic Locking System), which automatically secures the firearm as soon as it is holstered and is released using a natural thumb motion during the draw. This ensures fast, intuitive operation without unnecessary steps or delays.

The design is optimized for Glock 17 pistols from generations 1 to 5 equipped with a weapon-mounted light. The holster accommodates the dimensions of the most commonly used duty lights such as SureFire X300 and Streamlight TLR-1 / TLR-1 HL. It is also fully compatible with pistols equipped with a red dot sight (optics ready), making it a modern solution aligned with current duty gear trends.

The holster is constructed from SafariSeven™ material, developed using DuPont™ nylon. This advanced material is significantly lighter than traditional SafariLaminate™, features no surface coating, and offers excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures. The holster maintains its shape and functionality in heat, cold, and prolonged field use.

The MID-RIDE belt attachment provides an ideal balance between fast access to the firearm and stability during movement. Compared to high-ride configurations, the holster positions the pistol slightly lower, improving draw ergonomics—especially when worn with body armor or load-bearing equipment.
