RESPONDER 48 BACKPACK BY 5.11
When it’s time to grab and go, the Responder 48 backpack by 5.11 is ready for action. This 35-liter tactical backpack is designed for medics, firefighters, and law enforcement personnel who need their gear perfectly organized and instantly accessible. It offers a durable construction, full clamshell opening of the main compartment, and a smart internal divider system that ensures clarity and order even under critical conditions.
Inside, you’ll find one vertical and four horizontal removable dividers that can be freely adjusted to fit different load types and volumes. The backpack is reinforced with closed-cell foam padding, which protects the contents from impact and helps maintain the bag’s shape. The light-colored interior lining improves visibility in low-light environments. It also features two internal zippered pockets, one open pocket with elastic loops, and a clear internal divider for small items or documents.
On the outside, the backpack provides two side zippered pockets, a large front pocket with two additional internal compartments and elastic organizers, and straps for securing a D-type oxygen cylinder. Comfort is ensured by padded shoulder straps, a removable sternum strap, an aluminum frame, and an HDPE back panel, which provide support even under heavy loads. The top and front grab handles allow for quick and flexible handling from various positions.
The entire exterior of the backpack is easy to wipe down and disinfect, which is crucial in contaminated environments. Reflective elements on the front panel and shoulder straps enhance visibility. The backpack is also compatible with the Responder Med Pouch (sold separately) and features a four-color snap system (red, blue, yellow, green) for efficient compartment identification.
