Bore Tech QWIK-DRI Dry Lubricant – Teflon Dry Gun Lubricant

Bore Tech QWIK-DRI Dry Lubricant is a dry film PTFE-based lubricant designed for lubricating moving parts of firearms. After application, the carrier evaporates quickly and leaves behind a thin dry lubricating layer that reduces friction while not attracting dust and debris like conventional oil-based lubricants.

QWIK-DRI is an excellent choice wherever you want reliable lubrication without an oily surface. It is suitable, for example, for pistol slide rails, rifle bolts, bolt carriers, magazines, and other moving metal components. The dry film is also practical on firearms used in dusty environments or on guns carried in holsters, where conventional oils can trap dirt and dust.

PTFE lubricating film without unnecessary greasiness

The lubricant is based on submicron PTFE particles, which form a slick layer on the treated surface. This helps reduce friction and wear on contact surfaces. Once dry, the surface remains dry to the touch, so the lubricant does not behave like a typical oily film.

At the same time, QWIK-DRI operates in a wide temperature range of approximately −73 °C to +315 °C, making it suitable for use in demanding climatic conditions.

For moving firearm parts

You can use Bore Tech QWIK-DRI, for example, on:

• pistol slide rails,
• rifle bolts and bolt carriers,
• moving parts of magazines,
• trigger mechanisms and other moving components,
• metal contact surfaces where dry lubrication is desired.

Before application, it is advisable to remove old lubricant and contaminants from the treated parts. After thoroughly drying, apply a small amount of QWIK-DRI to the designated areas and move the relevant components several times to distribute the lubricant evenly. Then allow the product to dry completely. For a uniform film, the application can be repeated.

QWIK-DRI is not intended for application inside the bore. For lubricating and protecting the bore, use a suitable product designed for this purpose, such as Bore Tech Friction Guard XP.

Instructions for use

BEFORE HANDLING THE FIREARM, IT MUST BE UNLOADED!!!

1. Clean the treated parts using a degreaser such as Bore Tech Blast Degreaser and allow them to dry thoroughly.
2. Then apply a small amount of Qwik-Dri to all moving parts. Move each component several times to distribute the lubricant evenly and then allow it to dry completely.
   Note: Slightly warming the parts before applying Qwik-Dri will improve the lubricant’s adhesion and penetration into the metal pores.
3. Repeat step 2 to ensure sufficient coverage and proper lubrication.
