The high-cut Predator Patrol boots by Pentagon are designed for everyday duty use and extended movement in both urban and field environments. The boots combine essential stability, mechanical durability, and comfort, making them particularly suitable for security personnel and other professionals during long shifts, patrols, or extended periods of standing and walking.

The upper is made from 1.6–1.8 mm waterproof full-grain leather combined with abrasion-resistant nylon fabric. This combination provides a balanced blend of protection, flexibility, and long-term durability. High-wear areas are further reinforced with rubber protection and a moulded structure, increasing durability without adding unnecessary bulk to the boot.

Protection against water is provided by a waterproof Hydroguard® membrane combined with a breathable Air Mesh lining. The membrane prevents water from entering the boot, while the lining promotes airflow during extended wear. The manufacturer specifies more than 12 hours of static waterproofing in heavy rain and waterproof testing over 20,000–28,000 water penetration cycles.

Protection against moisture and wear is further enhanced by a waterproof and abrasion-resistant tongue. Metal eyelets and durable nylon laces allow for secure and even tightening.

Comfort during long shifts is supported by a removable cushioned footbed with different thicknesses in key areas of the foot. The footbed is 5 mm thick at the forefoot and 7 mm at the heel, providing more effective shock absorption in the heel area. This design helps reduce fatigue during extended periods of standing, patrolling, and movement on hard surfaces.

Contact with the ground is provided by a slip-resistant and wear-resistant rubber outsole. It is designed to provide reliable traction on concrete, pavements, and other urban and mixed surfaces, including wet and smooth ground. The outsole construction also provides more secure footing when moving on ladder rungs.

The boots feature a glue-cemented construction designed to maintain flexibility and comfort during extended wear. A single boot in size EU 43 weighs approximately 775 g, allowing the robust construction to remain practical even during long working shifts.

The model meets the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2022 LG SRC standard. The LG designation refers to testing for grip on ladder rungs, while SRC indicates a high level of slip resistance. Thanks to the combination of a durable upper, waterproof protection, cushioning, and a stable outsole, the model is particularly suitable for patrol duties, security and law enforcement personnel, urban and mixed environments, and long periods of standing and movement.
